  • Saturday, February 15, 2014-Middle Stage Fest!

Middle Stage Fest is a theatre competition for 6th-8th graders from around California.  It is soooo much fun!  Prepare a monologue, scene, or original piece to perform.

  • Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday, May 27, 28, & 29, 2014-School Play!

I know lots of you will want to be involved with the play!  Theatre club members are not required to do the school play.  You do not have to be a member of theatre club to be in the play.  Cast members will be determined by audition; crew members will be determined by application.  Audition and application dates will be announced later.

  • Theatre Club Dance! (tentative)

Theatre Club hopes to sponsor a dance this year!  Plan to set up, clean up, and boogie down!

Donations: Though it is not required for membership, it would be greatly appreciated if you are able to make a small donation to Theatre Club.  Donations will be used to support our club activities.  Please put cash in an envelope with the student’s full legal name on the outside.  Checks should be made payable to Thornton Junior High. Write the student’s full legal name and “Theatre Club Donation” on the memo line.  Donations can be given to Ms. Sousa.  She will give you a receipt for your donation.  Thank you!
