  • Women’s History Month Fact:  Wyoming was the first state to grant women the right to vote. It was also the first state to elect a female governor, Nellie Tayloe Ross.


  • A message from Ms. Sousa: Thank you to all who auditioned for Golly Gee Whiz!  You were great!  I had so much fun!  I hope you did, too.  The callback list will be posted at lunch today in the library and business office windows.  If you are called back for a second audition, line up outside room 11A at 2:55 today. Whether or not you get a callback today, be sure to check the cast list Monday.  Break a leg!


  • The lost and found will be cleared out and donated to charity after school today.  Please check the lost and found located in front of the small gym for any missing items before .


  • Bring your whole family to Math and Science Family Night  here at Thornton Junior High on Tuesday, March 13th from 6:00 to 8:00.  There will be robots, rockets and explosions!


  • Homework Club will be in room 6 on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 2:45 until 3:15 next week.


  • Daylight Saving time begins this Sunday, March 11th.  Set your clocks ahead 1 hour before going to bed on Saturday night.


  • Students, if you have a yellow pass, you must go to Academic Recovery in room 37 at lunch today.
