  • PTSA meeting tonight at 7:00pm in the Thornton Library.

 

  • Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are minimum days.  Students will be released at 1:12 on all three days.

 

  • Parent-Teacher conferences are on Wednesday and Thursday from 1:30 until 8:00pm with a teacher dinner break from 5 to 5:30pm.

 

  • Can you guess for how long Sikhs have been living in California? 20 years? 30 years? Well...how about over 120 years! Sikhs started coming to the U.S. Pacific Coast in 1890s. Many Sikh families have their 3rd and 4th generation born in the U.S.

 

  • Your TUPE fact of the day:  In 2014, about 7 in 10 middle school and high school students - more than 18 million youth - said they had seen e-cigarette advertising

 

  • There is no homework club this week due to Parent Conferences.

 

  • Speech and Debate Club...there will be no meeting this Thursday, November 15 due to the minimum day.

 

  • The final team of Science Bowl finalists will meet it's last meeting before Thanksgiving break today after school.  See you then.

 

  • Students:  If you have overdue library books a message was sent to your school loop account. Please check your school loop account and return your overdue library books or see Mrs. Hammill in the library.
