  • Today is a minimum day.  Students will be released at 1:12. There is no school on Monday, November 12th in observance of Veteran's Day.

 

  • Veterans Day is celebrated each year on November 11th.  This year’s holiday will be observed on Monday.  Veterans Day honors all of the outstanding people who are serving or who have served in the U.S. military throughout our nation’s history. Be sure to take some time this weekend to honor America’s veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for us all.

 

  • Almost all Sikhs trace their roots back to Punjab, known as the Land of Five Rivers. This region got divided between India and Pakistan when British rule ended in 1947. Have you heard any of your fellow students speak Punjabi?  Do you know what is the common Sikh greeting in Punjabi?

 

  • Hey Thunderbolts! Today after school, from 1:15 to 1:40, Junioract is going to host a fun campus beautification! Meet in Ms. Gunabe’s room, room 38, and you’ll get candy for coming to the fun event!‚Äč

 

  • Your TUPE fact of the day:  Many e-cigarettes feature bright colors and fruit, candy, alcohol or other flavors that youth find attractive and interesting.

 

  • Green Team, please meet in room 19 on Friday, bring your lunch from home.

 

  • Latinx club meeting today at 11:15 in room 32. Bring your lunch. All are welcome!

 

  • GLI meeting today at lunch in room 11

 

  • Students please throw away all unwanted food and wrappers when you have finished eating lunch. Help Keep Our Campus Clean.

 

  • Congratulations to Tvisha S. who has been selected to move to district, state, and national levels in the Fremont Elks Drug Awareness Essay Contest.

 

  • The AMC 8 is in the large gym on Tuesday, November 13th during 2nd and 3rd periods.  You will receive a blue call out slip during 1st period on Tuesday if you are taking the test.

 

  • There will be no homework club next week due to Parent Conferences.
