  • 8th Graders.  If you are interested in the Irvington High School arts magnet program and were unable to attend the information session on Tuesday, applications are available in the business office.

 

  • TUPE Team emergency meeting today at lunch.

 

  • The Black Student Union will continue in Rm. 28.  All students interested are eligible to attend.  Lunch will be provided to students in attendance.  The first meeting will be held on February 9th during lunch.  Show up on time and ready to meet others with the same interest.  If you have any further questions log on the Thornton BSU website located on School Loop.   • All students and staff who are interested in a safe place to talk about issues relating to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Questioning community (LGBTQ for short) are welcome to attend Thornton's newly created Gay-Straight Alliance in room 35 at lunch today and every Thursday. Bring your lunch and join us! ​Please see Ms. Wallace in room 35 if you have questions.

 

  • Speech and Debate Club is meeting TODAY after school in room 36. Be sure to have checked Google Classroom for any information your high school coaches may have posted for today's meeting. See you then!

 

  • GLI meeting at lunch in room 11 today.

 

  • Calling all students! Show your love for Thornton by joining Junioract in a campus cleanup. The event will take place on February 13th from 2:45-3:15 after school. Valentine-themed candy will be distributed to all who participate. See you there!

 

  • Have you heard? It’s time for the nerd! Dress up in your nerd attire on Friday, February 9th.

 

  • This Friday, February 9th, Leadership will be hosting a fun balloon popping game. Who will be the last balloon to survive? Come join and you can be the winner!
