  • Hello Tbolts!  Tobacco use disproportionately affects marginalized populations-including African Americans-who have long been targeted by the tobacco industry.  Big tobacco has sponsored cultural events, placed more advertisements in magazines read by African Americans, and advertised at venues and events targeted at the black community.  Tobacco use is a social justice issue and that is one reason why Thornton is a tobacco free school!  Brought to you by the TUPE Team
