  • Back to School Night is this Wednesday, September 19th starting with a presentation in the large gym at 6:30 pm followed by classroom visits.


  • Hello Thunderbolts:  Do you have an interest to visit Washington D.C. and New York during Spring Break? If so, come to an informational meeting in the library at 5:30 pm on September 19th for more information on this wonderful field trip and opportunity. Both 7th and 8th graders are welcome!


  • The library will be closed  after school today


  • Hey T-Bolts! TUPE Team informational meeting today at lunch in the girls' locker room! See you then! Mrs. DeTar


  • AMC:  American Mathematics Competition AMC 8 will be held on November 13th.  Students interested in participating in the AMC 8 should submit the payment and form to their math teachers by October 5th.  The form was sent out to parents and students through School Loop Mail.


  • GLI meeting today at lunch in room 11


  • Hello, scientists.  The test for the Science Bowl will be today after school in the library.


  • A huge thanks to the many students who showed up after school last Thursday to try out for the Speech and Debate Club. It was super difficult to choose those we'd like to see return for the second round of auditions. Please check the callback list that has been posted on the window of room 36. Callbacks will be held THIS Thursday, September 20 from 3-4 pm in room 36.


  • The Junior Achievement Club is taking off.  Not sure what the Junior Achievement Club is all about?‚Äč  The JA Club is about exploring the working world and different careers that make the most of your talents and interests.  We will have a short organization meeting during lunch on today in Room 3. Stop by to find out more!


  • Ahoy mateys!  Tomorrow, September 19th, is International Talk Like a Pirate Day!  Come to the theatre club table in front of the big gym at lunchtime on Wednesday to try your hand -or your hook- at talking like a pirate.  Treasure for all who try.


  • Hello, Thunderbolts! Are you interested in joining an international club, benefiting our local and global community? Junior Interact Club is the middle school branch of Rotary International where you can earn experience for community service, carry out hands-on service projects, and develop leadership skills. Join Junior Interact Club for the first meeting of the year on Tuesday, September 25 during lunch in Room 38. Hope to see you all there!


  • Students, do you have gently used books at home or books you have already read and want to get rid of.  Well your in luck, you can drop them off in the library. We now have a donation bin for those in need. The books will be used to help migrant communities in China.


  • Students are you interested in signing up for library club?  Go see Mrs. Hammill in the library, Thursday September 20th will be the last day to sign up.
