  • Hoops for Heart Facts of the Day:

    • Your heart is really a muscle. It's located a little to the left of the middle of your chest, and it's about the size of your fist.

    • The heart muscle is special because of what it does. The heart sends blood around your body. The blood provides your body with the oxygen and nutrients it needs.

 

  • Speech and Debaters, there will be a meeting today after school from 3-4 pm. See you then!

 

  • GLI meeting today at lunch in room 11

 

  • Attention 8th graders--the gold colored eligibility contract for the end of the year 8th grade activities that you received in your homeroom before break was due on Tuesday to your homeroom teacher. If this is not returned by today, you will be placed on the not attending list regardless of your eligibility. If you need a new form, please come to the office before school, after school, or at lunch. These will not be available to you during other times in the school day.

 

  • After School Tennis is a GREAT way to learn the basics of tennis. Your aspiring athlete will work on their coordination, conditioning, teamwork and sportsmanship all while learning a fun new way to stay active and healthy for the rest of their lives! Our Spring session is from April 13 - June 8  on Fridays from 3:00 pm-4:00 pm. We provide all equipment.   • Science Fair Club Pizza Party, this Friday at Lunch in room 40.

  • The Gay-Straight Alliance will be meeting in room 35 during lunch today. Everyone is welcome!

 

  • Hey T-bolts! Designs Her Way, a free coding program, still has a couple spots open. If you are interested, please apply through the link (https://goo.gl/woQbFX) by Friday, April 13.

 

  • So far, we have been getting better with putting our trash where it belongs. However, our school still needs your help dealing with the remaining trash. Plastic  has been causing problems, so make sure you throw your plastic items away after using them. Think about the ecosystem everyone! Make sure you throw away your garbage.‚Äč

 

  • Hello all, the Roller Coaster Engineering Club has been working hard to build the perfect marble-rolling Roller Coasters!  Come to Ms. Harker's room tomorrow during lunch if you'd like to see their first judging. The final competition will be April 27th at Great America.
